Education is an aid to life. Maria Montessori created an environment where the natural love of learning is cultivated. The environment is scientifically designed to fullfil the basic needs of the child according to their sensitive periods. The child is supported in his own process of self construction by adults who care and who have received special training to enable them to observe, guide, and direct their students in this natural process of growth and development.

A hallmark of Montessori education is the mixed age classroom. Children ages three to six work and live together. Children of different ages help each other. Comunication and harmony are present. And the little children sense that when they are bigger, their turn to become helpers will come. All activities are designed to entice and delight the children while they are designed with an ultimate purppose for greater knowledge.
